ICONIC THEATRE REBUILD.

by

On Friday, April 7, 2023, the marquee and the neon sign atop of the historic Huntridge Theater was relit for the first time since 2004. Hundreds joined in the celebration curated by Branden Powers of Strange Magic , as witnessed in the video above.

One of the most renowned and historically significant buildings in Las Vegas will soon be brought back to life, as the renovation of the Huntridge Theater is moving forward.

Purchased by Dapper Companies in March of 2021, the company will spend the next few years renovating the theater and the retail buildings on the western side of the property. When finished, the Huntridge Theater will feature multiple stages for concerts, theater, performance art and a multitude of entertainment options for the residents of the Las Vegas Valley and the tourists who visit.

We are excited to announce SoHo Playhouse as the sole operator of the Theater and continue to seek devoted and enthusiastic partners to create some amazing food and beverage spaces to come onboard.

“we could not have come this far..."

J . Dapper said “we could not have come this far without the help of so many in Las Vegas who wanted to help us bring the Huntridge Theater back to life. They include former Las Vegas City Attorney, Brad Jerbic;  former Las Vegas City Councilman, Bob Coffin; Bob Stoldal (Chairman of the Board for the Nevada State Museum, board member for the Historical Society, the City of Las Vegas Historical Preservation Commission, Preserve Nevada and the Nevada State Commission on Cultural Affairs); Councilwoman Olivia Diaz; Diane Siebrandt, PhD · Historic Preservation Officer at the City of Las Vegas; and Mayor Carolyn Goodman and the entire City Council of the City of Las Vegas.

Stay tuned for the incredible journey.

While the Huntridge has been associated with the high-brow glitz and glamour of the film and theater world since 1944,

the venue was electric with the hottest punk and rock groups of the ‘90s, including Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Violent Femmes, No Doubt, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, and many more before closing its doors in 2004.

One of our favorites, was the Beastie Boys famous $2 Bill Show in 2004
